New Dog Training Book Published
The New Dog Training Book is on Amazon
Dog Training Strategies, Tactics, and Personal Insight is written and published.
I finished and published the new dog training book a while back. That was my big project for the last couple of years. This book is less esoteric and a bit more practical than my first full sized dog training book. I started this post months ago, but got caught up in the next big project and the blog post has been waiting on my computer to be finished.
Dog Training Strategies, Tactics, and Personal Insight: the book
The book is broken into 101 dog training tips. This was the name of my first training website. I incorporated and then elaborated on many of the original 101 dog training tips. Then I took a few out, combined others, and added some new ones.
All in all I like this format. Breaking the material into easily managed chunks makes reading the book a bit less intimidating. This way you can read and finish one tip at a time. By breaking the book into easy to digest small sections (tips) I am incorporating one of the principles of dog training into book writing. A lot of my clients and friends are maturing, so I also use larger print.

Personal Development in Dog Training.
You will notice the last chapter of personal development, it seems I just can’t resist pointing out how dog training can help us understand how to change and improve our own life narrative. I have to admit personal development was one of the main themes of the first book, and it was also something people most disliked about the book. However, I think I presented the concept of personal development in a more tolerable and perhaps even useful fashion in this work. I have prepared a presentation (talk) about one of the ways we can use the lessons of dog training to improve our lives and help us accomplish our goals. I am looking for groups that may be interested in having me speak on this topic.
The New Dog Project
You may be asking, what new project has been occupying my focus now that the book is finished? I have started a new video show about Dog Adoption. Yes, I am now working on producing The Dog Adopt Show. It will primarily be focused on dog rescue, but will also include dog centric lifestyle segments. As the show moves forward I plan on incorporating segments on dog friendly real estate and houses.
Until next time, I am wishing you the very best in dogs and in life.
