Now offering a new kind of group dog training that is more about teaching the owner than the dog.

While this group dog training program does teach basic obedience commands, it's not as quick as a standard dog training program. It is more about teaching a solid foundation for the handler. Once the handler has a very well established dog handling skills the dog should respond appropriately. As the training advances we will incorporates interesting challenges, while teaching principles of learning theory and patterns of canine behavior. You'll also get to do learning games that will enhance your pet’s ability to develop good behavior.

What Owner/Handlers Learn
In this dog training program the focus is on training the handler:
- warn up exercises, especially useful for more mature handlers
- leash handling
- body positioning
- timing and reward placement
- breathing and calm focus
- how to build small habits that grow
These skills make training more effective and consistent for your dog.

Not only will group classes will teach you how to get your dog to perform basic commands, but you will also learn how to move more efficiently;
- “Walk on a loose leash
- “Sit/Sit Stay”
- Basic Recall – to come when called
- respond to “Good”
Group dog training classes in the north Orange County and Gateway cities areas will have dog/handler teams of mixed experience and at different levels owner/dog teams. The leanth of classes will vary depending on the number and level of the dog/handler teams.
Group classes are an alternative to standard group dog training classes, but not the ideal place for every dog. Aggressive untrained dogs are not allowed into group classes. Group classes are not always the best way to solve behavior problems. However, we will cover simple solutions to solve some common behavior problems.
NO Reactive or Aggressive Dogs allowed in the Group Class.

We provide companion pet dog training and owner education in Southern California.
This group dog training classes is a good way to master the basic skills needed to teach the basic obedience exercises. Call for more information about the dog training plans we offer.
